Terms of Service

Last updated July 15, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Mousely, including the website, download flow, Mousely on your phone and computer, early-access builds, and related services. By using Mousely, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Mousely.

What Mousely does

Mousely turns your phone into a trackpad for your computer. Mousely on your phone sends local input events, such as movement, taps, clicks, scrolls, and related settings, to your computer. Mousely on your computer translates those events into operating-system input.

Early access

Mousely is in early access and may change, break, be delayed, or be discontinued. Download availability may vary by platform, region, operating-system version, or third-party app store.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using Mousely safely and lawfully. Do not use Mousely where unexpected cursor movement, clicks, scrolling, or connection issues could cause harm, data loss, financial loss, safety risk, or violation of law or policy. Keep control of your devices and use Mousely only on devices and networks you trust.

Local transport and security

The current early-access build may send local input packets over Bluetooth Low Energy and/or local-network UDP. Not every local packet is encrypted end-to-end at the application layer. You understand that local-network UDP traffic should be treated as unencrypted local traffic, and you are responsible for securing your own devices and network.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Mousely, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer non-open components except where allowed by law, use Mousely to harm others, or use Mousely in a way that violates applicable law, platform rules, or third-party rights.

Privacy

Your use of Mousely is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

Third-party services and platforms

Mousely may depend on third-party platforms and services, including Apple TestFlight, operating-system Bluetooth and input APIs, Cloudflare, Google Sheets, and email or anti-spam providers. Those third parties may have their own terms and policies.

No warranty

Mousely is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, and security.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mousely and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, device issues, network issues, business interruption, or other losses arising from or related to your use of Mousely. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mousely and its team from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Mousely, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of another person's rights.

Changes to Mousely or these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue Mousely or any feature at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of Mousely after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Mousely if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the service, or if we need to protect Mousely, users, or third parties.
